Tragedy Strikes

On the first day of our website construction, tragedy struck Running Creek Farm. One of our first heifers, Lil Tay Tay, was found dead in the creek.

Lil Tay Tay was named by our oldest daughter, Kelly, who first chose the name "Taylor Swift," forcing a much-needed compromise to "Lil Tay Tay."

She was a "hornless" Longhorn, but very pretty and seemingly in good health. At this point we have no clue what happened.

Sadly, as we were dragging her out of the creek, many of the cows came and stood next to her, as if they were paying their last respects. Either that, or they were trying to figure out why she smelled so bad.

Regardless, RIP Lil Tay Tay. You will be missed.
